Irvine "Trainspotting", Welsh. He's pretty cool.

The On-U Sound record label. Remember the Barmy Army album with Billy Bonds OBE and Devo's Boots or was it Leroy's Boots on it. Some of the same musicians who played on White Lines and the Message played on those tracks - Keith le Blanc and Douglas Wimbish. That was pretty cool.

Beat me to it...Adrian Sherwood is a fan and sure I read in an interview somewhere, back in the day that Tackhead did a tour(in the States I think?) and Keith Leblanc wore the same Irons away shirt every night on stage!

Didn't Lennox Lewis want to have one of his fights at The Boleyn too?

Actually as Celeb WHU fans he is a pretty cool one, and went to the ssme junior school as me.

Mashed I don't doubt your superior knowledge of the fine art of the Grime music scene.

I do understand the music industry, perhaps you should check your privilege at the door and listen when you are being educated by a noble black man when he speaks
Clap hands emoji

Perhaps his manager John Woolf stiffing Wiley for £4.5m of your Grime pounds can clue you in a bit more, or just read what Wiley wrote, see the reaction and start to add up 2+2

Goldie

You said that grime music glorifies violence and was invented/promoted by Jews.

I politely explained why your synopsis is inaccurate: while a lot of grime does indeed glorify violence (it would be churlish to deny this), the roots of grime have literally nothing to do with Jews. Wiley and a few others created it out of the UK garage scene in a very DIY way, as the (partly commercialised) UKG scene shunned it, arguably due to its nature.

The mainstream stuff promoted by the BBC etc years later bore very little if any resemblance to the early days of grime music, and the grime that *did* still promote violence by the time Wiley & co were mainstream was absolutely nowhere near the BBC or the greater public's repertoire.

Assuming that your equation of Jews and the mainstream music biz is correct (I'm not going down that road as I CBA), your initial statement is incorrect for the reasons listed above.

I blag on 99.99999% of what I argue about on here, but grime music is one of the very few subjects where I actually know what I'm talking about and you're well out of your depth to attempt to lecture me on how it's some sort of tool of the eternal hebrew.

I cannot possibly act in better faith than this.

"So a 12 year old child gets arrested for sending a racist message to Wilfred Zaha, but this Wiley geezer has not been"

Only he has been within 24 hrs after the coordinated campaign of harassment against him he was shut down and visited by 12 police officers within 24hrs, even getting a heads up from our own Priti Patel in support of shutting him down.

As has been observed these past few months black celebrities can openly threaten violence and call for boycotts against white people and even film themselves beating up white folk with little legal intervention or media interest.

Funny watching black twitter realising just who has the privilege and power and just where they rate on the identity politics spectrum.

Not so much being done about 10,000s of white girls being gang raped across the country though.

Shit Mashed and there was me thinking you were acting in good faith

Seems you haven't quite yet been able to check your own privilege and listen to black people when they speak.

While I don't pretend to know or care about Drill/Grime scene, I do know about the music industry and what it takes to get accepted into the mainstream.

Maybe you should take a moment to hear the other side of the story, maybe👏 even👏 a👏 few👏 extra👏 minutes👏 when👏 a👏 black👏 man👏 is👏 speaking👏 to👏 you.

"Do you honestly think it was Rinse FM, Eskimo Dance or Sidewinder or made Stormzy, Wiley and Dizzie Rascal household names giving them prominence on the BBC etc to the degree even your nan has heard of them ?"

Wiley and Dizzee didn't become "household names" or reach any "prominence" until they released radio-safe sanitised pop music like summer time and pies. This was years after they pioneered the grine sound on Rinse FM etc (with, I'd bet, not a single Jew involved). Actual violent-lyriced grime like Slew Dem Crew etc saw next to zero mainstream success and absolutely never appeared anywhere on the BBC. In short: you're talking rubbish.

Stormzy talks outspoken cookie cutter anti-authority bollocks for the same reason punk musicians did: cos it shocks old fuddy duddies and sells music to their kids.
